The Mayor of Maastricht city Annemarie Penn Strakech, Limburg officials, representatives of diplomatic corpus accredited in the Netherlands, business circles, as well as Director of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Deputy-Foreign Minister Hafiz Pashayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mir-Hamza Efendiyev and also the representatives of the Embassy and ADA took part in the ceremony.
As it is very well known the cooperation between ADA and MSM develops successfully. So according to the agreement signed between these two education centers on 24th of May 2013 during the Day of Azerbaijan held in Maastricht the program called Business Administration in the Energy Management Field was opened and currently successfully implemented. As a result the students graduated from this program got two diplomas from ADA and MSM.
Opening the ceremony the Chair of the board of MSM Rene van der Linden welcomed the guests and talked about the educational standards and international environment of MSM as well as congratulated the graduates. Speaking about the perspectives of cooperation with Azerbaijan he underlined the success of first MBA graduates from ADA and expressed a hope for continuation of cooperation between two institutions and creation of new educational programs in future.
Speaking on the ceremony Director Hafiz Pashayev congratulated the first graduates of the program and expressed the gratitude to the management of MSM for the organization of the program on a high level and its successful implementation. Director Pashayev emphasized that independent Republic of Azerbaijan with growing day by day economy needs dynamic business leaders and managers who got the education which meets requirements of the time. He wished further success to the first graduates and expressed his assurance that they will be successful as in Azerbaijan as on the international level.
It is important to mention that 30 Azerbaijani graduates were granted by MSM diplomas.The ceremony was concluded by the perfomance of Eurasia Quartet of the Maastricht Academy of Music and reception.
