Opening of Khojaly monument after reconstruction

On 24 April 2020, after a reconstruction, the first monument of the Europe dedicated to the victims of genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanian civilian population in Khojaly city, Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan on 26 February 1992, was re-opened in a more prominent place in the Hague. The monument has already drawn a lot of attention. This genocide have been recognized by more than 10 countries and 20 states of the USA as one of the most gruesome genocides of the XX century. We are grateful for Azerbaijanis living in the Netherlands, the Hague Municipality, parliamentarians and historians participating in the commemoration ceremony.
